Code of Conduct

At Willumsen ApS, we are committed to responsible and ethical business practices. This Code of Conduct defines the minimum standards and expectations we require from all suppliers and sub-suppliers involved in the production of goods for Willumsen.

We expect our suppliers to operate in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations and in alignment with internationally recognised principles, including the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

1. Compliance with Laws

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to labour, health and safety, environmental, and anti-corruption laws in the country of operation.

2. Human Rights

Suppliers must respect internationally recognised human rights.

  • Forced labour, bonded labour, involuntary prison labour, and human trafficking are strictly prohibited.
  • Child labour must not be used. Suppliers must comply with all applicable minimum age laws and regulations.

3. Labour Conditions

Suppliers must ensure fair and lawful working conditions.

  • Wages, benefits, and working hours must comply with applicable local laws.
  • Overtime must be voluntary and compensated according to legal requirements.
  • Employees must be granted legally required rest periods and days off.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or abusive treatment is not tolerated.

4. Health and Safety

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment and take reasonable measures to prevent workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.

Appropriate safety training, protective equipment, and emergency procedures must be in place and comply with local regulations.

5. Environment and Climate

Suppliers must comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations and actively work to minimise the environmental impact of their operations, including responsible handling of waste, emissions, and natural resources.

6. Business Ethics

Suppliers must conduct business with integrity and in accordance with ethical standards.

  • Bribery, corruption, and any form of unethical business practice are strictly prohibited.
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed and managed appropriately.

7. Monitoring and Compliance

Willumsen reserves the right to monitor supplier compliance with this Code of Conduct through audits, inspections, and documentation reviews.

Suppliers must cooperate fully with any compliance assessments and provide accurate information upon request.

8. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in corrective action plans, suspension, or termination of the business relationship.
