The Norse Foldable is a lightweight folding camping axe built for the people who actually go where the trails end. Real chopping power. Real wood-splitting bite. Folded down to something that packs next to your water bottle.

There's a reason most people leave the axe at home. Axes are heavy. They're awkward. They ride badly on a pack.

The Norse Foldable solves the problem the only way it can be solved: by folding the axe. A stonewashed edge and wear-resistant PVD coating that shrug off rust, sap and hard use. A sculpted G10 handle. A locking mechanism that holds rigid, so every swing is controlled and safe. Open it, work the woodpile, then fold it flat and keep walking.

Why it wins:

Packs down to under 21 cm. It slips into a pack pocket next to your cook kit. No bulky head cover to lose, no awkward lashing to the outside of your pack.

Real axe geometry. This isn't a hatchet pretending. The head is ground for a full 111 mm edge — enough mass and bite to split firewood, prep kindling and process real camp wood.

Locked rigid when open. Cross-bar lock with a secondary safety catch, so the head stays put through every swing until you choose to fold it away. Safety you can hear click into place.

G10 handle, two colours. Sculpted G10 scales in Black and Forest Green. Both grip wet, both grip cold, both grip when you're tired.
